Cheonho Park

Information current as of August 11, 2016

Even though Cheonho Park is a small park, do not make the mistake of underestimating it. This park in southwest Seoul makes the most of what it does have. The Scouting Report

As mentioned above, Cheonho Park is small. But like they say, "Dynamite comes in small packages." And just like dynamite, the explosiveness of Cheonho Park isn't fully realized until it's too late. Don't forsake this little bitty park. Give it a chance. Enjoy the sucka.

The two basketball courts in Cheonho park are in great shape. They are both "full" courts, but one is a little shorter than the other.

Although the games are not uber competitive, they are a decent spot in which to find pick-up games.

Gardens And Water

Although the park isn't big, it is surprisingly scenic. A musical fountain complete with dancing water puts on a show at regular intervals throughout the day. Also, there are a few paths that loop around the park.

The park's scenery is truly rather nice and provides a nice reprieve from the din of Seoul.

The Stage

A stage in the middle of the park is a popular gathering spot for the park's visitors. It is also home to various festivals that are held throughout the year.
