The Scouting Report

Boramae Park played host to events in the 2005 Asian X-Games. As such, it knows how to facilitate activities like rock climbing. Boramae Park's climbing wall is a great place to get a climbing fix. It has a good variety of difficulty when it comes to routes. The staff will also belay if you came alone (for a small fee).

The Price

2,000 won will gain you entrance and access to the wall. For 5,000 won, the staff will belay you 2 times.

Hours

The wall is open from 10:00 in the morning to 10:00 in the evening.

Height

15 meters

Extra Information

Feel free to spend some time bouldering. That is no problem.

There is nothing too noteworthy about the actual climbing wall area. However, basketball courts and a skating park are very nearby. They provide a constant buzz or activity in the area which makes for a good vibe.

Cool Down

After spending time on the wall, visit the parks' onsite Cafe Ju. It is staffed by local youth, and all the proceeds are put into local programs benefitting the youth.
