The Scouting Report

Danggogae Park has a top-notch rock climbing wall. Although it was built in 2001, it has been well maintained. The wall is plenty wide and has a variety of angles to climb. It is great for climbers of all levels. In addition to the main wall, there is a bouldering wall located to the side. Danggogae Park's climbing wall is definitely one of the better places to climb that you will find in Seoul.

How To Get There

Where: Seoul-si, Nowon-gu, Sanggye-dong

-Line 4 - Danggogae Station (당고개역):

  1. Walk out of exit 3.
  2. Walk straight for 80 meters.
  3. Look for the park on your right.

The rock-climbing wall is hard to miss. If for some strange reason you have trouble find it, look behind the basketball courts. If you still can't find it, look inside your soul. You'll hopefully realize that you probably shouldn't be climbing on the wall anyway.
